bad news

well. we hit a bump on our planning road.

remember so long ago when i talked about booking the westin? yeah. i should have. because now they are completely booked solid for our wedding night.

so i'm slightly panicking. what's a girl to do?

i'm always thinking about it. so why not blog about it?

i've always wanted to have some type of buffet or brunch brought into the hotel room for the morning of. it's going to be me, my mom, my 5 girls, 1 photog, 1 videog, 2 hair stylists, and 1 make-up artist. that's a lot of people! plus, i've been trying this try-not-to-eat-so-much-because-you're-a-bride-thing, and it's not working. i am going to want to eat (a lot) in the morning before our festivities begin.

so. what do you think is the bests type of food to serve? a small breakfast and small lunch? or a brunch brought in somewhere in the middle? these are definitely going to be on and in hand:

it has been wayyy too long! but, this delay comes with great news. G and i moved! we found the most adorable rental home in royal oak and made it ours over the past couple of weeks. so, hence the delay in posting.

but...i need to get back on the wedding trail in a hot way. i haven't done ANYTHING lately, and frankly, haven't had the desire to! with 4 months & 8 days to go, i need to get moving.

my stepmom is hosting (hostessing?) my bridal shower. it is going to be so lovely and so "me" as they say. very casual, feminine, laid back, and FUN! i can't wait for july 26th! :)

we looked at hotels this weekend. liked the omni, looved the book cadillac...but then again, who wouldn't?! i think it's safe to say this is where we'll be booking our night-of getaway, and also the location where i, along with 5 other beautiful girls, will be getting ready the morning of september 12th. if i'm counting correctly, there's going to be around 10-11 people running around that morning. i like to call it organized chaos. i told my grandma and she laughed out loud, and said, "just chaos, not organized!" ...she is so cute! i forewarned her that she will be also participating in the morning festitivies of hair and makeup - what she doesn't know is that i plan on splitting the tab with my mom to have her services paid for. isn't she so cute?
