yogi bear!

i never posted pics of yogi's session with mod4! he was such a good boy - so scared at first, might i add - but you can't even tell by how fabulous nick and jess captured him! i had this session done as a surprise for my mom and stepdad for christmas. here are a couple of my favorites from his session from their blog. isn't he adorable?! they have some great deals going on right now; go check mod4 out!

we took our e-pics last week with the fabulous jen of jk photography and she posted our sneak peek on her blog today! when i first met jen last year, i instantly knew that we were going to book with her. she made me feel so comfortable at our first meeting, and even more so during our e-session. i can't wait to have her with me all day in..oh! 44 days people! if you are looking for a uber-talented and super fun photographer, look no further!

needless to say, we are *thrilled* with how they turned out. i plan on making a guestook out of the pics or using them as table number photos. we shall see! i can't wait to get the rest of the edited pics from her to get started! yay!

these are obviously not professional photos, but i thought i would post some pics of them because i love them soo much! our invite girl, jenny, sewed the invites one-by-one on her sewing machine, and hand-tied all of the inserts together. we could NOT be happier, and everyone has told us how great and "us" they are, which is just what we were looking for.

my shower is coming up!

sunday is my joint-family bridal shower! i am SO excited! as the day gets closer and closer, i am more and more excited about this day that has been prepared just for me.

everyone asks me, "will geoff be there?" so here is the answer...he will be golfing with my dad and will probably pop in at the end of the shower! i love the thought of a shower being only for girls. like the old treehouse signs: NO BOYS ALLOWED!

my stepmom (the hostess) has some fabulous food planned and i can't wait to see everyone! (alright...AND get some rockin' gifts!) ;)

omg...that was so exciting! now i know what everyone is talking about. i totally get it. HOW FUN!

bridesmaid dinner tomorrow!

i am so excited...tomorrow we are going out for dinner and drinks for the first time as "bride and bridesmaids"...!

i really slacked on planning multiple get-togethers since we've been engaged, but finally we are doing it!

i will be giving them the first of many gifts...and i took lovely photos of the gifts, yet we left our camera cable in california! (huge bummer)...so photos will have to wait! and we will be talking about my bachelorette party!

know what i hate?

...when bloggers don't post daily. i know, i'm a guilty party as well!

i looove reading my favorite blogs and seeing updates daily! so i'm really going to try to post at least every other day or so...that is, if anyone is reading?!

tonight we went to our friends' house for a fun little bbq, but i was soo exhausted from work the past 3 days that i couldn't even stay very long. i have been so emotionally drained from work lately, it's unexplainable. i take care of patients with such sad cases every day...and all i can say is, remember to enjoy every day with those you love!

good news

every bad news has to be followed by a good news post, right? right.

i forgot to post about olivia's shower! it was fabulous. the weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the company was even better. it was great to see our family again and enjoy celebrating olivia and dan! here are some photos from the day...

well. we hit a bump on our planning road.

remember so long ago when i talked about booking the westin? yeah. i should have. because now they are completely booked solid for our wedding night.
